1. Who we are
GTG Global Technology WLL (“GTG Global Technology”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website. We are the data controller for personal data collected through it.
- Registered address: Office No. 2259, Building No. 574, Road 31, Block 611, Al Hamriya Area, Kingdom of Bahrain
- Commercial Registration number: 197982-1
- Email: info@gtggt.org
If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your personal data, email info@gtggt.org.
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It does not cover any separate agreement you may have with us as a client or partner, and it does not cover third-party websites we link to.
3. Information you give us
Enquiry form. When you submit the contact form we collect the information you enter: your full name, company or organisation, email address, telephone number, country, the nature of your enquiry, and the content of your message. Name and email are required; the rest are optional and you may leave them blank.
Email. If you email info@gtggt.org directly, we hold your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
We do not ask for and do not want special-category data — health, religious, political or biometric information. Please do not include it in an enquiry.
4. Information collected automatically
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information for every request: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, and the date and time. This is generated automatically by the web server and is used for security and diagnostics.
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes a truncated version of your IP address. It is configured not to collect information that directly identifies you.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors interact with pages — scrolling, clicks, and general navigation — so we can identify usability problems. Clarity may capture a session recording of your visit. Recordings are masked by default so that text you type into form fields is not captured.
Google reCAPTCHA. The enquiry form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which distinguishes human visitors from automated submissions. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, including device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Google Maps. The Contact page embeds a Google Map showing our office. When the map loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address.
5. Why we use your information, and our legal basis
| What we do | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry | So we can answer you | Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one |
| Keep a record of enquiries | Business records, and so we can follow up | Legitimate interests |
| Analytics and heatmaps | Understand and improve the site | Legitimate interests |
| Spam prevention (reCAPTCHA) | Keep the form usable | Legitimate interests |
| Security logging | Protect the site and our systems | Legitimate interests |
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. This site uses:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function and for form security.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which help us understand how the site is used.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse cookies from specific sites. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
We do not use cookies for advertising or to build profiles about you.
7. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for advertising.
We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Google LLC — Analytics, reCAPTCHA and Maps
- Microsoft Corporation — Clarity
We may also disclose personal data where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a competent authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
8. International transfers
We are based in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Some of the service providers above process data outside Bahrain, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred outside Bahrain we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law, including relying on the providers’ own contractual safeguards.
9. How long we keep it
- Enquiry form submissions and email correspondence — [RETENTION PERIOD] from our last contact with you, then deleted, unless we need to keep them longer for a legal or contractual reason.
- Analytics data — retained by Google for the period configured in our Google Analytics property.
- Clarity recordings — retained by Microsoft in line with Clarity’s own retention.
10. How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiry submissions is limited to people at GTG Global Technology who need it in order to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk.
11. Your rights
Under the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018), and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data, where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including analytics;
- ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved;
- ask us to transfer your data to you or another controller in a common format.
To exercise any of these, email info@gtggt.org. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant supervisory authority — in Bahrain, the Personal Data Protection Authority.
12. Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email info@gtggt.org and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links
Our site links to third-party sites including LinkedIn and Instagram. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing them with personal data.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. If the change is significant we will make it clear on the site. Please check back from time to time.
